NEW FORMS comes to Robert Johnson in Offenbach for an exclusive event on November 18th. \nNEW FORMS is the brainchild of dBridge and Kabuki: initiated to provide a platform for lovers/producers of progressive Bass Music. After fruitful collaboration in the studio during the day\, the artists will tear up the dance floor at night with different flavours of music. dBridge is a member of Bad Company and the label boss of Exit Records. He left the path of traditional Drum and Bass behind when he started ‚Autonomic‘ a couple of years ago\, doing a podcast\, running a label and a club night. Not afraid to push musical boundaries\, all kinds of influences go into his recent work. If you listen closely you can still hear the echoes of Jungle/Drum and Bass. \nKabuki is predominantly acknowledged as a pioneer in the Drum and Bass scene\, even though he was always actively producing other genres as well. Tempo has never been as important to him as making sure his music has a feeling of soul. With his analogue equipment he’s hard at work making new templates of Jungle\, Juke and Hip-Hop inspired beats. Sarah Farina is renowned for her dynamic sets: she seamlessly blends bass-heavy Footwork\, futuristic beats with detours through R&B as well as UK Funky. Inclusive\, forward-thinking and unrestrained: her music is a genre-rejecting style she’s named ‚rainbowbass‘. \nÜber New Forms im Robert Johnson: \nFreunde von eklektischer elektronischer Musik aufgepasst! Die im Berliner Watergate erprobte Veranstaltungsreihe NEW FORMS macht am 18.11.2016 für einen exklusiven Event im Offenbacher Robert Johnson halt. Das Konzept von NEW FORMS ist\, eine Plattform für den Austausch von Fans und Machern progressiver Bassmusik zu etablieren. Nach einem kollaborativen Tag im Studio erklären die Künstler am Abend den Club zu ihrer musikalische Spielwiese. Gegründet wurde NEW FORMS von dBridge und Kabuki\, die beide seit Dekaden an immer neuen musikalischen Entwürfen arbeiten. \ndBridge\, der den meisten wahrscheinlich als Teil von Bad Company und Labelbetreiber von Exit Records bekannt sein dürfte\, fing zu Zeiten von Autonomic an mit Podcasts\, Label und dazugehöriger Clubnacht die Grenzen von Drum and Bass zu durchbrechen. Einmal aus der engen Schublade ausgebrochen\, bestimmen die unterschiedlichsten Einflüsse seine Sounds. Ein Echo von Jungle/Drum and Bass ist meist noch zu hören. \nKabuki ist hauptsächlich durch seine Rolle als Pionier in der Drum&Bass-Szene bekannt\, obwohl er schon immer in anderen Genres aktiv war. Der Frankfurter bastelt mit seinem analogen Maschinenpark an neuen Entwürfen von Jungle\, Juke\, und Hip Hop inspirierten Beats. \nNeben den beiden Veteranen ist Sarah Farina mit im Boot. Die Berlinerin ist für ihre dynamischen Sets weit über die Grenzen der Hauptstadt bekannt. Wie man z.B. in Ihren Boiler Room Sets hören kann\, verknüpft sie kunstvoll basslastige Footwork Tunes mit futuristischen Beats mit Schlenkern über R&B und UK Funky. Inklusiv\, vorwärts denkend und unbeschränkt: Rainbowbass eben!
